Lepta(レプタ)は古代ギリシャの最小単位の銅貨。
貧しい未亡人が全財産のレプタ銅貨2枚を献金箱に投げ入れ、
それを見ていたイエスが「皆はあり余る中から投げ入れたが、
この人は貧しい中から持っている、生きる手立ての全てを投げ入れた」
という聖書のお話から、私たちも何の才能もないけれど、
全てを主に捧げたいという想いで名付けました。

Love Your Neighbor.
As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts
into the temple treasury.
He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.
“Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more
than all the others.
All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth;
but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” Luke21:1~4

but a wish to offer our all to the Lord.
